The Tamil Nadu Admission to Undergraduate Health care Diploma Courses Bill, 2021 (Anti-NEET monthly bill), was supported by all parties, such as the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), except for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The monthly bill was introduced following a 19-year-old healthcare aspirant died by suicide at his house in Salem hours prior to the NEET exam.
