NEW DELHI: Rajan, 15, has designed an electric powered bicycle applying scraps, which resembles a miniature Royal Enfield.
The 9th standard college student, finding out Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in Delhi’s Subhash Nagar, informed ANI that he spent only Rs 45,000 to create this e-bike from scrap.
He reported, “It took me three months to collect the element and a few days to assemble them into an e-bicycle.”
Earlier, he had also designed an e-cycle but failed to set a speed handle mechanism, for the reason that of which he satisfied with an incident and injured himself.

Utilising the COVID-19 induced lockdown, he utilised to devote time with mechanics and widen his know-how horizons.
“At a motor shop close by my residence, I applied to request thoughts about technicalities of a motor,” he stated.

His father, Dashrath Sharma stated that Rajan has been a curious child due to the fact childhood and was fond of taking part in with electronic objects. “To operate on this e-bike, he lied to me and reported that he has received an assignment from faculty to recycle a bike,” explained the father.
